Mike & Kate’s Wedding

One thing we know after shooting weddings for over a decade is that it’s impossible to be a perfect couple and have a perfect wedding. But dang, Mike and Kate came close to both.
The word that comes to mind after meeting Kate then Mike is compliment. Separate they are similar and together they perfectly compliment one another. When two people so kind, smart, beautiful and fun become one, expect a day like Mike and Kate’s - near perfect.
San Juan Capistrano in the summer was the appropriate setting for such an occasion. The weather was pleasant and so were Mike and Kate, ready and excited to get married. Their energy carried through to their loved ones and guests, and even their dog, who was very much a part of this momentous day.
The Inn at the Mission with its gorgeous Spanish style and plants as pops of color was a timeless backdrop. Mike and Kate’s first look at the outdoor mosaic staircase was epically sweet.
From start to finish, it was seamless. Their vows during the ceremony told the tale of just how incredible and how in love Mike and Kate are. The day they planned to celebrate really couldn’t have gone wrong because together they’ve got it all. Everything else is a bonus.
We’re just gonna come out and say it: Mike and Kate, you are perfect. Congratulations on a California dream wedding day that followed suit. Thank you for letting us be a part of it and for reminding us why we love what we do.
